In America today, we have a two-party system: the Stupid Party and the Evil Party. The Evil Party sets the agenda and pursues its aims relentlessly and ruthlessly; the Stupid Party registers a polite token opposition and then fully agrees to whatever the Evil Party wants, occasionally only arguing that it can implement the Evil Party’s program more effectively than the Evil Party itself. We saw this play out yet again Wednesday, when Stupid Party House Leader Kevin McCarthy (S-California) downplayed any talk of impeaching Old Joe Biden or any of his cronies if the Stupids retake the House in the midterm elections.
McCarthy is still playing by rules that the Evil Party discarded long ago, and that’s why he and his fellow Stupid Party members keep losing.
McCarthy declared that Americans don’t “like impeachment used for political purposes at all,” and added that “the country wants to heal” and see a “system that actually works.” That means there will be no impeachment proceedings against Biden, or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary and former Disinformation Governance Board supreme overlord Alejandro Mayorkas, or Gestapo chief Merrick Garland. Leave billions of dollars worth of materiel in Afghanistan for our enemies to use against us? No problem! Open the Southern border so that untold numbers of criminals and terrorists can waltz right into the country? Hey, we all make mistakes. Sic the woke FBI against parents protesting at school board meetings against the far-Left agenda in public schools? We all can get carried away! Impeachment? Forget it. It wouldn’t be the decent thing to do.
When McCarthy was asked if he saw any grounds for impeaching any officials of this lawless and authoritarian administration, he answered: “I don’t see it before me right now.

I am not sure that the Republic can take two more years of Biden. We might not have anything left because he does everything by ‘fiat’ decree and tries to wait out the courts until another Democrat is in office.

Unless you can get rid of Kamala at the same time it would be a mistake to impeach Biden. We need to take both houses in order to neuter the administration.
Same... I actually have more disdain for the “Republicant” party than I do for the democrats. With the demoncrats, they are bit more honest and open with their communism unlike Mcpain, Linda Graham, Murkowski, the Bushes, Cheney’s etc.. Maybe McCarthy can bring back the gentleman from South Carolina, Trey Gowdy. He used to make some fine speeches in his gentlemanly accent on camera, then worked in the background to make sure that the Russia collusion "investigation" kept going. Don't fire Sessions!

McCarthy believing that the Republicans acting like the adults in the room when the Democrats are a mob of 5th graders will earn them anything with voters is extremely naive.
The average Democrat voter's ability for logic, thought and reason is frozen at the pre-K level. (And maybe at an even earlier stage of development.)

On Mayorkas and Garland I agree with you. Their official behavior has been nothing less that sinister and traitorous. It is essential to make examples of those two. It is a matter of rule of law . . . real law, not hyper-partisan law. Why do we have an opposing party if you DON’T go after those blatantly working against our nation??
Also, Hunter and Joe must be legitimately investigated AND prosecuted. just about everybody in Federal government seems to be on the take. If nothing is done about it, our demise is only a matter of time.
And the criminals behind the Russia collusion hoax won’t be punished, the theft of the 2020 election won’t be investigated etc etc. this clown is bought and paid for. A deep state rino. He does not need to be speaker of the house.
I missed that in civics class. If that were the sole purpose then that would be great. The Article II Sect. 4 of our constitution ... "removal from office" part is what really matters I would think. This evolution to impeach would be the same as a steer in the field with a bunch of heifers... it might be fun for the steer and heifer but in the end it is going to produce nothing.
