Boy, if my car gets stolen, I hope the cops are as quick to catch the thief as they are with an allegedly stolen Hertz car. Who is Hertz paying off to get such great service from the cops?

I was saying patrol cops aren’t preferentially pulling over Hertz cars because they only know from the plates that its been reported stolen. Another poster said LE, kjowing about this issue, should stop accepting theft reports from Hertz, which makes sense, or at least prosecute somebody for a false report for failing to cancel them.
