Steve Bannon has been sentenced to four months in federal prison and fined $6,500.
All political crimes are adjudicated in Washington DC - the DOJ, the courts, the leftist juries. All totally controlled with predictable results.
He is out pending appeal. And fined $6500.00 total. This, according to Posobiec on Warroom just now. Posobiec pointed out that appeals are lengthy and Bannon may be back on the Warroom this morning, according to Navarro who is hosting.
No. The House referred the case to the DOJ. It was the DOJ that brought the charges. Plus, it has been adjudicated. The only recourse for Bannon is to appeal. If he doesn’t appeal, he would go to prison before the election and probably be out of prison on “good behavior” in January.
Yeah!
Democrats finally standing up to crime! ;)
We can all sleep well at night and walk the streets with no concerns, and ride the subways with all abandon.
That lite a sentence he’s eligible for alternative like house arrest or halfway house

Lara Logan was also banned by newsmax news for daring to speak the truth
The first amendment is under attack for sure-
“BREAKING: Newsmax pulls the plug on Lara Logan after her appearance last night.
“Newsmax condemns in the strongest terms the reprehensible statements made by Lara Logan and her views do not reflect our network. We have no plans to interview her again.”

These scumbags are just BEGGGING for a Civil War. Can’t come soon enough.
Hang on, I'm, getting a text...
OMG!!!
Why didn’t he just show-up and assert his 5th Amendment rights, savaging the kangaroo committee as he refused each time to answer? Any lawyers out there who can explain this?
Good point - but not relevant in this situation.
That is judges discretion usually
Although in this case it would be de facto sentence completed before appeal heard
“The new standard has been set. Just in time for a Republican congress.”
Popcorn time..
“Good point - but not relevant in this situation.”
Nope. Bannon hasn’t been killed in government custody. Yet, anyway.

****
Optics. It’s a political prosecution. The media would just play him taking the 5th over and over again, headline the number of times he took it, play clips of the committee members disdain as he took it.
depending on how you define dine on, sounds like she committed truth.
Bannon is not going to complain much, I see him as accepting this with a plan in mind to see a little reciprocation if the situation provides.
That wish is predicated on fair elections. What’s plan B?
