I honestly don’t understand why different races on a ballot don’t track similarly for the same Party. Why would you have a Republican governor winning comfortably but not a senator?
probably name recognition, and “he’s an astronaut!” appeals to the weak minded.
For me Masters is a bit of a puzzle. Last week, he said in the debate that he saw no evidence of fraud in the 2020 election. A blind man could see fraud in the 2020 election. I hope Masters is not a RINO in Patriots’ clothing.
Because there are a number of people who are simply better than you and I and look at everything with an open mind and award their precious vote at will regardless of the consequences. They think they are king makers. Their willingness to judge each candidate individually regardless of the consequences of their vote proves their superiority. Not to say this is a conscience thing, people in general simply do not know why they do what they do. In addition the vast majority of people don’t follow politics and have no idea what is going on, as hard as it is to believe in an echo chamber such as freeperland.
Lake’s opponent is uncommonly bad, while Kelly has incredible amounts of Chinese money to fund ads. It hasn’t helped that national Republicans have publicly stabbed Blake Masters. Masters also sometimes comes across as shifting his opinions while Kelly can lie without any sign of shame.
IMHO, Lake will win easily (Karizona!) and Blake will win by a small margin.

I occasionally listen to the feed from KYCA in Prescott, AZ — (Chris Plante and Dan Bongino - time shifted 1 hour later) — and I have never hear an ad for Blake Masters.
In fact there is a repulsive ad from Kelly touting how conservative he is and that he does NOT vote the party line... It’s a crock of an ad but Blake Masters could use some advertising help...
