Listen Pootie troll, on Feb 23rd the RGF consisted of 260,000-280,000 professionals and a bunch of untrained conscripts, Russian Naval Infantry had maybe 20,000 more professionals and an unknown number of conscripts in similar condition.
Of that 160,000-250,000 were committed in the initial days and weeks. The remainder of the Russian contracted troops where left to guard the Russian border - the National Guard had 350,000 almost all of whom guard internal borders, camps an the like. Some were committed but not many and only in the following months.
Russia has no reserves, hence the mobilization of 1.2 million to send untrained to the front to die.
