Does Russia not have nuclear weapons? “All the means at our disposal” obviously includes nuclear weapons.

Detonating a nuke over the Black Sea would just be theater. I don’t think there is anyone on the planet that doesn’t know Russia has nukes, and that at least some of them work. This is just posturing, and is perhaps intended more for home consumption than wide appeal.
US and Brit Intel now are feeding these alarmist “ Putin nuc” reports by anonymous “ experts” to the popular media on a daily basis. It would be amusing to observe if this escalatory nuc doom porn was being run by some clown country …but it’s not. Which makes It dangerous.

They never figured their bullying wouldn’t work with Putin like so many others and are desperate. Losing total control of the outcome of their war on Russia was never considered.
I understand it for what it is: the last agonal breaths of a dying empire.
Putin could easily end this by withdrawing from Ukraine. By not withdrawing, he doesn’t appear to have any interest in avoiding a nuclear war.
Neither side is a good guy. Both Ukraine AND Russia are hyper corrupt oligarchies. The only difference between them is the scale of their corruption.
I hope both sides lose.

I’m not sure exactly how I’d feel if NYC, DC, SF, LA, Portland, Chicago, and Seattle were nuked off the map.
