He’s Putin’s stooge and does and says what Moscow tells him. Just like our goon Zelensky, who dances to the whim of the gang in DC.

The Putinistas are just upset that NATO, by beefing up it’s defensive positions, incurs Russia in it’s psychosis to divert resources from it’s attempt to grind up Ukraine.

Why thank you for the history lesson...That has zip to do with what I said. NATO or the US is what I said.

I was responding to your post #6 where you stated “...If Belarus sees the potential aggressor building up in Poland, an aggressor who was never attacked in any way...”

To be honest, I was responding to your post #6 and read it as your saying that Poland was the ‘aggressor’, but in reading your other posts I’m going to assume that you meant that NATO in Poland was ‘aggressor’.

That said, It was Russia that invaded Ukraine for the second time this century February and now Belarus is also threatening to invade Ukraine as well.

The ‘history lesson’ that you didn’t ask for was to only point out why the nations involved are likely to have a bit of hostility towards one another.

Has NATO/US/Ukraine invaded either Russia or Belarus?

Lame. You are way too understanding of Lukashenko and Putin. How much is Putin bribing Lukashenko to rattle what sword he’s got? To bunk dragooned Russian soldiers?

“My guess is that maintaining six thousand warheads would take a huge fraction of their budget and that some of that budget is invested in yachts.”

Russia had one facility for maintaining its nukes, and it burned or exploded 5 years ago. I wish I could find its name again.

Neither Belarus nor Russia has the means to attack prepositioned NATO groups in Poland assuming they have brought adequate air defense, and most of Belarus is within range of long range NATO precision munitions.

I believe at least some of this noise is being generated because of reports that Poland is training and arming Belarussian opposition guerrillas. Not sure the Poles are really doing that or just "leaking" such information to prevent Belarus from launching another northern front against Ukraine.

Putin pays him nothing. He is as much a Russian stooge as our goon, Zelensky, is the Obama regime’s stooge. You’re a real fool. You’re giving me crap about trying to understand the countries we are eyeball to eyeball with about to cross the line to nuclear annihilation. We don’t dare try to understand what’s going on. You’re policy is the idiot policy of your fool big guy.

Putin bribed Yanukovych to the tune of a few billions. To facilitate Putin getting Crimea. Look it up...... So I will assume he is bribing Lukashenko too.

Ok, ok, have it your way. Putin has to bribe his groveling stooge. That’s probably the same reason Zelensky has those massive offshore bank accounts.

“Ok, ok, have it your way. Putin has to bribe his groveling stooge.”

Lukashenko gives off that lumbering, bumbler image. And in my opinion, cultivates it. Fact is he is a very clever operator, and obviously a long term survivor in a very tough neighborhood.

I used to think he was a clown. Same as you do. File under, “Looks can be deceiving”

Ah, moving the goalposts and hyperventilating at the same time, eh?.

“Where in the NATO Charter is this proxy war against Russia sanctioned?

NATO, as an organization, is not supplying Ukraine; and NATO, as an organization, is not fighting a “proxy war” against Russia. Some individual NATO countries, on their own (i.e., not as part of a NATO operation), are supplying Ukraine.
Some NATO countries are not supplying Ukraine.

“What treaty obligation requires any response from the US?”

It is called the Budapest Memorandum of 1994. The US and the UK guaranteed Ukraine’s security in exchange for Ukraine giving up its nukes. Russia also was a signatory, and it also guaranteed Ukraine’s security...then broke its promise.

“If all you’ve got is the Russia, Russia, Russia attacked, what about all the other times Russia has attacked since 1991?”

Well, at least you are admitting Russia’s penchant for aggression. Anyway, you must be referring to Russia’s invasions of Chechnya (twice) and Georgia. The answer is simple: The US had no security agreement with either of them. As for Russia’s invasion and illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014, the United States DID respond: Weakly under Obama; much more powerfully under Trump.

“Where were you demanding we spend $500M a day while going to the nuclear mat with the Russians in 2014? That’s right, your media masters ignored it, you ignored it.”

You are so full of hyperbole. We never went “to the nuclear mat” in 2014.

“Also Mr. World Policeman, where were you when the 58% Uke ethnic majority was suppressing the 42% ethnic Russian minority?”

Ah, with the childish names, I see. But, to answer your question, what you described was a civil war, confined to eastern Ukraine. Rule #1: Never get involved in someone else’s civil war.

“If you guys...”

Who are “you guys?”

“...manage not to blow up the world and the big guy gets his way, will you want to trot out the world policeman to rectify that unjust Ukrainian repression of the ethnic Russians again?”

See reply above.

“Gotcha!”

You “got” nothing.
