The socialist city councilwoman who led the efforts to defund and demonize the Seattle Police Department is again asking for special treatment.
City councilwoman Kshama Sawant’s condo has reportedly been defaced with feces at least four times this month. The last incident, on Oct. 13, is being investigated as a political or racial bias incident. It’s unclear if the genesis of the feces is human or animal.
Now, Sawant is demanding the SPD to post officers outside her home from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. until the suspect is arrested, according to multiple sources speaking to the Jason Rantz Show on the condition of anonymity.
Sawant’s request comes as the department is dangerously understaffed, thanks to her efforts to defund and dismantle the department since 2020. The SPD has lost at least 135 officers this year — nearly 500 since 2020 — and cannot meet staffing minimums across any precinct and watch.
Concurrently, the city is experiencing a crime surge that’s resulted in a number of emphasis patrols — when they can spare the staff — in various neighborhoods.
Sawant did not respond to a weekend request for comment. It’s unclear if she has received protection yet or if she will at all. SPD would not confirm the request was made.
Sawant has history of hating cops — and asking for special treatment This isn’t the first time Sawant asked for special treatment from the department she publicly loathes.
After getting anonymous threatening and rude emails, Sawant demanded that overburdened detectives focus their attention on tracking the suspect down.
And Sawant’s disdain for police is well-documented.
Sawant claimed black Seattleites are “targeted in fatal police shootings, arrests, and mass incarceration” by Seattle police. And she’s quick to label innocent cops “murderers.” She even went so far as to baselessly claim police were sent to Black Lives Matter rallies-turned-riots with “instructions to orchestrate violence, including repeated practices and patterns of repression and violence, with officers wearing riot gear and carrying tear gas spray canisters.”

Does it even really matter if it was animal or human?
The author had to think a long time how to express that? Most of us would be able to ask that question a lot more simply and directly.
It’s amazing to think there may be more human fecal matter on the streets of Seattle than in her native India! Perhaps she’d be happier back in Pune. Of course they wouldn’t put up with her destructive leftwing nonsense.
There was a farmer protest where a truckload of cow crap was left outside city hall.
This is a small version of what has happened with the “defund the police” communities. Police wait to respond now an hour or two after a robbery or shooting has taken place. That way they won’t be exposed to criminal liability for doing their jobs. The thugs now run cities like Chicago etc.
The “thin blue line” has been erased in major cities leading to a Hobbesian devolution into chaos.

Very poorly written headline. This is like the left squawking about “gun violence”.
Poop doesn’t attack buildings nor do guns walk down to the liquor store and shoot the clerk.
But we can’t label someone as a criminal, that would be a microaggression.

I went to Seattle yesterday to go on the new West Seattle bridge linking downtown to Alki point. I was shocked by the number of panhandlers and drug transactions being held right in plain sight on the boardwalk. I have never seen so many underage prostitutes with their pimps soliciting males of all ages and nationalities. No hiding on back alleys. Right outside the restaurants along the boardwalk. I was offered ‘services’ by three different young GIRLS, maybe 16? to 22? Seattle has sure changed from the laid back touristy place it was in the past. I don’t know if this obvious criminal activity being so bold and out in the open is a result of the police being told to back down on prosecuting these types of crimes or if it is because there ARE no police. I saw not one police car, sheriff or otherwise on Alki point yesterday. None. I’m sure the night holds even more dangerous criminal activities. My brother, who lives right on the beach in a nice condo said almost every night he hears gunshots. I’m glad I live across the sound where it still resembles the Northwest of the 70’s and 80’s. I’m sure nefarious things go on here as well but it’s not in the open at all and the police and sheriff presence is abundant and obvious.
Never in the history of the world has one tyrant or wannabe tyrant ever lived by the same demands made of the average person. Never.
