Yes, I lived thru the Carter years. I paid a 10.5% mortgage interest rate on my first home in 1979. The Volcker rate hikes resolved the inflation problem. Government spending and QE by the Fed created this problem. Check out the M1 money supply over the years and the unprecedented exponential increase in the last few years.

Biden/Harris don’t envision they dictate. Just look at this electric vehicle push. Car manufactures are building them because of dictates. Yet, many of us are looking at the reality the grid for them doesn’t exist.

Let's be honest, this is even worse than anyone realizes. The "inflation reduction act" is nothing but the "New Green Energy Bill" crossdressing...with the Democrats, what did you expect?

You get tax credits for moving AWAY from any kind of gas-powered appliances to ELECTRIC APPLIANCES! Electric appliances that will connect to the electric grid that already cannot keep up and maintain sustainable energy. Add all the EVs and all the new electric appliances, and we are looking at the average (meaning idiotic) American begging the government to institute standardized rolling brown-/black-outs to share the misery of not being able to go to work four days a week because we can only charge our EV twice every seven days! Or only cook on even days for even-numbered houses and odd days for odd-numbered houses (like watering your yards in drought conditions)!!

Why do you think the US GOVERNMENT is pushing for private companies to embrace the whole "work from home as much as possible" narrative?!? They want the American people to DEMAND TO BE LOCKED DOWN, and not "forced" to go out where the pollution and people are located! Instead of instilling hard, steadfast work ethics in Americans, the Democrats are trying to make Americans more and more dependent on the Government...this has been their whole plan for DECADES...heck for CENTURIES!

Having complete control of the electric grid, while making everything reliant on that electric grid, gives them almost ABSOLUTE CONTROL!!
