Bernie Sanders, like Michael Bloomberg changes parties whenever it's politically expedient for him to do so. Bloomberg's been a Democrat, Republican, Independent, and back to Democrat. Bernie's been a member of the Liberty Union (Socialist) party, Progressive party, Independent, Democrat, back to Independent, then Democrat again, and currently now an Independent. Talk about schizophrenic political personalities.

The clown has never achieved much to think he deserves to start in high office. He started his political career as a no-name candidate for the presidency. All he proved to be was a waste in the punchbowl.
His career has pretty much been with the CIA. I believe that agency is even more corrupt than the FBI. He’s never achieved anything that makes me he should be elected to anything.

Yes, it is b.s. The most influential role of a senator is to serve on a committee, and those assignments are doled out by the respective caucuses. He has to side with one or the other or essentially accomplish nothing.
He is a smart man, the guy that will be needed for important matters, will have his hand out to all comers.
