How can the Justice Department execute arrests for failure to respond to subpeonas when they don’t respond to them themselves? Shouldn’t they send 30 armed agents at 5 a.m. to the Attorney Generals home and frog march him?
Technically, there is no such thing as failing to respond to a subpoena. There is failure to appear, but there first has to be an established appearance date, time, and location, and then President Trump has to fail to appear before the DoJ can act.
