One in five Americans are unsure if they will be able to cover the costs of Thanksgiving this year, and one in four plan to skip it to save money, a recent Personal Capital survey found.
The state of economic affairs in President Joe Biden’s America is affecting Americans’ holiday plans. According to the survey, one quarter of Americans are planning to skip Thanksgiving this year to save money, and one in five “doubted they would have enough money to cover the costs of Thanksgiving this year.”

81 million alleged votes later....
I just cancelled visiting my family. diesel is back above 6 a gallon. It will cost nearly $2000 just to drive down. By Thanksgiving it will probably 8 or 10.
LETS GO BIDEN
Maybe some will decide to go ahead with Thanksgiving if there are encouraging results after the election. Not many before, that’s for sure....Thanks for nothing, Joe Biden, unless you wish to name the names of those who are really running this country.

I am sure they will blame Trump.
Probably that many hate America enough to skip any traditional Holiday.
I’ll still go. We’re a close knit family. Except for ONE liberal brother whom I dont want to see.
He’ll probably brag that because of his policies, he saved these families 100% on their Thanksgiving dinner costs. Kind of like when he claimed that his policies had saved families a few cents on their 2021 4th of July BBQ.
It’s ridiculous for folks to skip holiday - my gosh bring a dish to pass and everyone eats - double up on transportation.
I was raised in a poor family after my father died in the war - we Never went without a full Holiday meal.
If they’er skipping holiday it’s because they just don’t want to go.
I don’t really spend extra on Thanksgiving anyhow. Considering that the leftovers will carry us through the entire long weekend, it’s really four days worth of food we are cooking on the one day. If we are inviting company, they are bringing side dishes, desserts and wine. So we might even spend less.
Had to check if it was Bee before I posted. I will give thanks every day for Gods blessings.
It’s not the food. Turkey at a buck a pound, russet potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, etc.
Exactly.
My Family has been split since 2016 - The Liberal Idiot Hillary / Biden voters refused to spend any Holidays with the Trump voter Cousins.
It bothered me at first, but now I don’t care - they can have their own Democrat Communist Holiday Party
At my 2nd part-time job, one of our clients is a free Thanksgiving meal program. They’ve already have a limited number of dinners and it’s no turkey, just ham.
They've recently cancelled Halloween by turning it into a drag queen and porno dress up affair.
They're going after July 4th, cuz fireworks are just too danged much fun.
Now they're going after Thanksgiving. Gotta respect the Native Americans and start going vegan.
I am not spending the money on Thanksgiving this year NO WAY!! I am going to BBQ a steak and enjoy my ALONE time!!
Screw Biden. My family won’t skip Thanksgiving due to that turd. Thanksgiving will be as wonderful as it’s always been. Given the state of the world it’s vital that we never pass up an opportunity to celebrate with our loved ones and friends, after all it’s family and our traditions that the Left is seeking to destroy.
I would rather know how many Trump voters are going without. As far as anyone who voted for this, I couldn’t care less if they are hurting, because I know they will vote for more of it.
