All the childishness about a nuclear war, which like the Ukraine war would be caused by Russia - is the most rank propaganda ala Tokyo Rose.

Of course the simple propaganda answer is to bail out the decimated Russia army because otherwise “we’re all gonna die”.

Russia started threatening this before the war, has never let up, and as Russia loses on the ground in Ukraine, this is all the Russian mouthpieces in the West have left.

No we aren’t all going to die, but a lot of poor Russian boys have and will.

The government can “plan” all it wants but if someone lets a nuke loose, people WILL panic.

No they haven’t. They have requested to formally join NATO.
They are not current members.

It’s all fun and games until the nukes start dropping. And then it’s zombie apocalypse time!! It will be like one giant theme park except everyone IS actually a zombie (the survivors at least) and it’s not just head shots that count.

Happy days baby!!!

This is all craziness. Chernobyl, which was not a nuclear explosion, created an initial exclusion zone of an 18.6 mile radius around the plant. That has since been expanded to 1,550 square miles. Think what even a limited use of nukes could do.

The world is being led by the most pathetic collection of wannabe ‘leaders’ in history.

“...They do have a shelf-life and have to be constantly maintained. And when was the last time Russia actually lit one off in a test?”

I’m pretty sure that Russia is a signatory to the test ban treaty. The idea of the treaty was not, as some think, about the environment. It was to keep other countries from developing nukes. The tests were intended not only to test newly developed technology, but to determine what parts of the bomb had to be maintained and over what timeframe the maintenance had to take place. This is why the tests were often carried out on very old bombs. Electronics turns out to be very easily damaged by radiation. So, which parts had to be refreshed was critical information and the countries who signed the test ban treaty had enough information to ensure their bombs would work.

Has Russia’s nuclear inventory been maintained so they can be certain it will work? Given the level of corruption we’ve seen all you have to do is determine where the money for the exotic cars, huge house and yacht owned by the generals, colonels and majors in the nuclear service came from. I think many of the suspicious fires at fuel dumps when Russia invaded Ukraine was because the officers had stolen the fuel and sold it and had to cover that fact up. There is precedent in that Russia’s aircraft carrier was severely damaged when the drydock it was in sank. The drydock sank because the emergency diesel pumps didn’t come on because the officer in charge had sold the fuel for them. He went to prison but being caught and punished almost never happens in Russia. Therefore, if Putin orders bombs deployed the people in charge will likely do the required maintenance, providing they have warning. Putin would be a fool not to give them this warning.

They aren’t going to nuke Ukraine.

How would they hold, control, use and exploit ground that couldn’t be walked on for “X” unknown 100’s of years?

Additionally, it would be the immediate end of Russia.

The world doesn’t need their vodka, oil or Ak47.

Additionally, they would destroy the bread basket of Europe?

Gimme a break guys...

The idiots touting Russia must win or the world will be destroyed, are indistinguishable from the communist stooges of the 60’s and 70’s.

Putin is such an evil incompetent idiot that he bungled a war everyone thought was a cake walk.

And then he bungled letting even pathetic Joe Biden and the woke Europeans finally wake up and do something about it.

Of course the real heroes of the day are the Ukrainians who have fought and fought and fought.

No we aren’t going to be blown up, at least not by Russia. And hopefully we have shown enough resolve to prevent the much more likely conflict with China.

Imagine a world in which the two worst actors on earth, Russia and China, can totally screw up their aggressions, and then win anyway because their quislings in America started screaming “we’re all gonna die”?

That’s exactly how they won in Vietnam, which is why they’re trying it now.

And it ain’t gonna work.

Beware of the Russian Bear.
They work, and Putina is mad enough to use them too- I think he will to garner support in the “motherland”.

I would not be surprised if he lands a dozen or so warheads in Cuba, Venezuela, and Mexico in the near future.

No one is using a nuke in Ukraine. Not because Russia wouldn’t use them, but more so because Russia doesn’t know if all the nukes that were removed from Ukraine back in the 90’s were ever accounted for. I don’t think Russia is prepared for what might happen if they decide to escalate. The vision of Moscow in a smoking ruin would not sit well.
