The Philippines occasionally demands climate justice.
I notice their president recently flew on a Philippine Air Force plane to Singapore to watch an F1 car race. So he is not too worried.

Tell them to take it up with Mount Pinatubo.

That $100 billion will be so well spent, lol!

Madeleine Diouf Sarr is a honcho in Senegal's environment ministry, her country's lack of development a reflection of its corruption, but no doubt she has done well by it. Companies face a high risk of corruption in Senegal’s natural resources sector.

They demand?

Forget it.

Most, if not all, those “poor” countries are flush with abundant natural resources that could provide an economy and income for people living there.

They just have to get past the government corruption that steals it all from the people and keeps them in poverty.

I’ve listened to those countries speakers for years now regarding Climate Change......they see a payday coming if they’re fully on board, which they are. And lawsuits if they don’t get their share. And some of these Islanders are blaming their sinking Islands on climate change rather than the fact they’re sinking all by themselves.

Sure thing. The only ones getting any money will be wicked leadership, it will NOT trickle down to the people in need.

Don’t some of these poorest nations have the most corrupt governments? Surely just a coincidence.

They are s hole countries because the s hole people like living in s holes. The western civilized nations have shown how to run a peaceful and prosperous society and there is no excuse for dumps like Eritrea to be as bad as they are.

Filthy nations with filthy air and water demand money from nations with clean air and clean water. Nice.

The Leaders say like building walls to keep the ocean back - at least that’s what they’re saying.

They’ve got to be kidding. We can’t even build a wall along our border on dry land. They will either have to move inland or move to another country.

Well there are some Islanders that have had to move to other Islands because they're sinking - that's what they do, unless they can scam Western countries out of the big bucks.
