Yes very disturbing! The past that really disturbed me is when he took everything the black guy had and left him naked. Ouch! In the book or the movie for that matter McCarthy doesn’t exactly explain what happened to the earth, but to me it was clear that the CO2 level dropped as there are many plants that can live without direct sunlight. In this world there are no plants, nothing alive except for humans
The left doesn’t seem to understand the current CO2 percentage is 0.04% If it ever reached 0.02% we are dead. C02 is not something we should be getting rid of, not that we can anyway the atmosphere is just too vast. We can no more change the CO2 level to any significant degree than we can turn the oceans yellow by peeing in them, it’s ludicrous.
