Puberty is a rough time for many kids. They may think the opposite sex has it easier and want to change because of that. For young females, learning to adjust to the menses can be rough. Anne Frank wrote about her first period that something wonderful was happening to her. Not every girl would agree. You never see this perspective given as justification for a sex change from female to male probably because it would be seen as anti-woman.
Why won’t they be just “normal” queers? Who do they think they’re fooling?
