Every company I worked for including the military did not sick people working. Making bad decisions and spreading the illness.
So why is the railroads so stingy on sick leave?
Do Y’all want a pilot puking his guts out flying the plane,
probably not.
Why would you want an engineer driving 100’s of thousands of tons of freight when he is schiffing his pants from a flu?
Any bobdy here know?
“Every company I worked for including the military did not LIKE sick people working”
I THINK that it was because of labor shortages. Or, because RR’s are operating “without a net” as a cost cutting measure, deliberately hiring as few people as possible with no allowances for absences. IDK.
Bluntly: Are you drunk, or simply ignorant?
Maybe you ought to read the details of their demands. This isn’t about sick days: That’s a left talking point.
I know retired rail workers: They do quite well, especially compared to me.
Those who follow will do INCREDIBLY WELL after their demands are granted.
Buckle up: Your budget is going to get even tighter and there’s not a damned thing you can do about it.
“So why is the railroads so stingy on sick leave?”
How much sick leave do they get now?
