When does the USA stop being the worlds policeman?

When it’s no longer in our national interest.

If you can’t recognize the incredible benefits the US has gained from being the global leader I can’t help you.

And if you think we’ve been the policeman for anyone’s benefit but our own you don’t get it.

Societies police for a reason.

Does it cost a lot? Sure, but in the long run it’s a lot cheaper than having a protracted, spreading land war in Europe.

We know that for sure.

So, like so many NEOCONs in DC, you’re willing to let this escalate and eventually get US boots on the ground, obviously.

What is the US interest in Ukraine? Other than money laundering for the folks in DC.

Do the Europeans not have standing armies? Can they not defend themselves?

Given that Ukraine isn’t part of Europe, how does what is going on there translate into a threat to Europe? The only reason being is that the EU is sticking their noses into other peoples businesses.

Hopefully, it won’t come to it, but there’s a damn good chance it will, but when US troops hit the ground and start landing at Dover, will you meet with the grieving family members and tell them how their son dying over there was to prevent the spread of war in Europe? Can you make that argument?

But, I guess if it’s someone else’s 18 or 19yr old, who cares, right?
