My answer is that "a whole nation" did not decide to eliminate all Jews.
As in most revolutions (National Socialism, Bolshevism, and Jacobinism were all revolutions), a minority pushed the agenda, a minority resisted, and most did nothing.
I doubt the majority in the U.S. support the tranny agenda. But most silently acquiesce, and hope that it will soon be over. It's safer that way.

The WHOLE nation did not just suddenly "wake up one day." Rather, it was a cabal of high-ranking Nazis who felt that it was in their best interest to weaponize and harness ancient animosities - based upon old superstitions, historical misunderstandings, and plain, simple human ignorance - in order to further their agenda (create a "common enemy," distract from more-immediate and pressing problems, etc.).
The Nazi tactic worked, and they soon expanded it to marginalize, discriminate against, and then even imprison and exterminate other minorities, like the Gypsies, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc.
