“Why does a science magazine have to have a sensationalist headline? “
This was in the Compton’s encyclopedia my parents had when I was a kiddie, including pictures. We kiddies would go to the article to see the pictures. Don’t remember the subject of the article.
My family had the Compton’s encyclopedia too. I mostly looked up the Presidents back then. We still have the World Book Encyclopedias that my in-laws bought back in the early 1960’s.
