Three Los Angeles City Council members and a top county labor official made racist remarks about their colleagues during a conversation last fall, according to leaked audio obtained by the Los Angeles Times.
Driving the news: Council President Nury Martinez during the meeting referred to a white councilman's child, who is Black, as “ese changuito,” or that little monkey, per the Los Angeles Times.
Martinez also reportedly said that the councilman handled his son as though he were an "accessory." Martinez also during the meeting referred to Mike Bonin, a member of the Los Angeles City Council, on one occasion as a "little bitch." “Mike Bonin won’t f—ing ever say peep about Latinos. He’ll never say a f—ing word about us,” Kevin de León, another member of the council, also reportedly said. What they're saying: Martinez apologized for the remarks in a statement on Sunday, saying: "In a moment of intense frustration and anger, I let the situation get the best of me and I hold myself accountable for these comments. For that I am sorry."

Trouble in diversity paradise.
Who was the football commentator who got fired for referring to a player as "one tough monkey"? That's was another common expression which had nothing to do with race. I remember when callings someone "one tough monkey" had nothing to do with race. Why are so many of the Negroes so fragile? They think everything is about them. Which of course is ridiculous.
By the way, President Trump is one tough monkey!
To the people of Los Angeles and liberal City Dwellers everywhere,
Please stop voting for candidates based on identity politics. These are not serious people. Their issues and way of thinking will get you nowhere. That is unless you think crime, homelessness, hatred of whites, and per this article, hatred of each other will get you somewhere. Other than the petty and vindictive thoughts of this crowd, find more fully developed people who put the citizens first.
When we were kids, whenever we acted up my grandfather would say “enough with the monkey business already”!! I always thought it was a Yiddish thing😀😀
Howard Cosell’s career was sunk after a “little monkey” reference and that was years ago.
Yes, the White councilman totes around his little negro child as an accessory. It's called virtue signaling. The Mexicans are not stupid. They damn sure know what is what. Even they notice that negroes are more privileged than Mexicans.
It is good advice if the people did not think Republicans are fascist Nazis.
Damn, you beat me...
How about these racist SOBs?!?...
I enjoy progressives destroying each other. And me and my friends were called “monkeys” all the time because we loved climbing trees.
Ernest Borgnine repeatedly calls Frank Sinatra “tough monkey” in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY.
That's right—thanks for reminding us! That a perfect example of common American English use of that phrase. It is not racial. "Tough monkey" means "physically tough with attitude".
For those who haven't seen it, FROM HERE TO ETERNITY depicts the events at Pearl Harbor shortly before and after December 7, 1941. It's a classic, four stars ****,
They print that, but not the tape of Obama at a party and the things he said
