You are in a cheap area, good for you. The average price in the USA right now is $3.80. People paying over $4.00 have a local problem, not an OPEC problem!
The production level is set for now and should stay stable.
The only way to lower the price now is to consume less of the product.
Right now I have heard there was a fire at a refinery and another refinery is on scheduled maintenance. This is pushing gas prices up in western USA and Canada. At least that’s the excuse.
