Former President Trump on Wednesday said CNN should “prove the big lie” about the 2020 election in the defamation case he filed against the media company this week.
Trump told Real America’s Voice network show “Just The News No Noise” hosts John Solomon and Amanda Head that CNN “will never be able to prove” in court that his claim the 2020 election was rife with fraud is false.
“Prove the big lie. The big lie is not a big lie at all. The big lie is the opposite,” the former president said. “All the stats — we have everything. Unfortunately, we haven’t had judges that want to look at it. They don’t want to change elections.”
Trump filed his $475 million lawsuit against CNN on Monday, accusing the news network of using its “massive influence” to defame him with a “barrage of negative associations and innuendos.”
Among the former president’s claims is that anchors and pundits have coined the term the “big lie” to smear him and associate him with “one of the most repugnant figures in modern history,” by which he meant Adolf Hitler. Trump faces a high legal bar, as the media is protected by the First Amendment. Plaintiffs must prove journalists or a news organization acted with actual malice or reckless disregard for the truth.
The former president has continued to claim the 2020 election was stolen, even after every claim was thrown out of court and no valid, substantial evidence of widespread fraud has been presented.
In December, The Associated Press published a detailed report investigating the 2020 election and Trump’s claims of voter fraud, finding only 475 cases of fraud in six battleground states, far less than he has claimed and not enough to prove rampant fraud.

How anyone can be convinced that the current (abject failure) US pOTUS got more legitimate votes than any President in history is just flat baffling to me.
Every time I hear "President Biden" I have to stop and ask myself, WHY is this man President? What happened?
There are some on this forum who claim that those 81 million "votes" for Biden were really not for Biden (not popular enough by himself) but were really vehement votes AGAINST Trump.
Not buying that one either.
Thank goodness Trump has deep pockets so he can file suits like this. The “Big Lie” is slander and libel at the same time. Make CNN expend bucks defending itself. If it actually goes to trial, Trump’s evidence will at least show show probable cause.
It is too bad that the RICO suit against Hillary never got off the ground. That would have been a fun trial.
I find something very interesting.
If you google search the recent revelations in Georgia alone, you can’t find a hit to the following: 1) election overturned by hand counting ballots after dominion machines error. 2). Voting machines in Georgia not certified since 2017. 3) 97% of dominion voting machines in Georgia contaminated with illegal software. 4) vote box stuffing. 5) illegal vote boxes and ballot collections 6) illegal campaign funding 7) coercion of demented and incompetent people by stealing there ballots…….well I could go on.
So, at the liberal sites like the Hill, they are convinced that the vote for Biden is clean. When you confront these people with the SQL software on dominion machines illegally there in multiple states, the dominion machines contaminated with outside software in Georgia, they deny or ignore the evidence. Just like they refuse to even watch 2000 mules.
Now that we KNOW via recent articles and revelations, that the government, including but not limited to the FBI, threaten and coerce media directly, you would think they would at least entertain the idea that they are potentially on the wrong side of this argument. Further, if the are on the wrong side they are undoubtedly FASCISTS that they say everyone else is.
There are never people more blind than those who refuse to see.
What is the legal term for "self contradicting?"
If every case was thrown out, how could evidence be presented?
