Election day is right around the corner. He has to artificially bring prices down just until Nov 1st then the sky’s the limit. You nailed it. It's all about surviving the November election. If the Dems can somehow hang on to power in November, it can go to $10 a gallon in December and at that point it won't matter anymore.
