Petroleum isnt natural gas, and their prices arent really related.

Oil prices have been collapsing, and Opec is trying to prop them up. Longer term this wont work, as we are headed to a global recession/depression. This alone is likely to prompt Opec countries themselves to cheat on the cartel, as they feel the pinch.

Gas is 5.70 here in Nevada. That is by far the collapsiest it has ever been

When the news OPEC was cutting production it seemed like it was because demand was going in the toilet. I people are only purchasing food and shelter that puts a bit of a dint in oil sales.
