"Good old Andrew Jackson actually retired the Debt!"

In my book that makes him Saint Andrew Jackson, patron saint of patriotic financial responsibility! ;-)

"Ballooning interest costs threaten to crowd out important public investments that can fuel economic growth in the future."

Right. Clearly Democrats hope they can inflation the problem away -- that's what Jimmy Carter did in the late 1970s, and Biden is going back to Carter's old playbook.

So, Republicans will inherit an economic & financial mess, should we win in both 2022 & 2024, similar to Ronald Reagan's problems in 1981, only much worse.

Please don’t act shocked when I tell you that keyboard warriors like you and I have absolutely nothing to do with our deficit nor the outcome of the war in Ukraine.

My support for the Ukrainian people doesn’t spend a dime. Your support for Putin doesn’t win him any battles.
