Could be possible. However we have superior weapons. Ukraine would be toast without them. In fact, if we had not intervened, and we did, Make no mistake about this, we are in a war against Russia, Ukraine would have collapsed long ago. This is really no longer a proxy war. And the pipeline? I believe we did that to further kill the Russian economy. Dangerous game though. It means the gloves are off and anyone can sabotage anyones pipelines world wide. The CIA is playing a flawed game here.
This administration got into office by great deceptions and trickery....no doubt they are trying hard to say we're not at war with Russia with those same tactics.... but we surely and without questions are. Just look at all the vast shipments of military, both men and equipment that Biden sent to Poland and the Baltic states under the guise of protecting those countries, but were no different than Putin amassing his army on his Border.
It's a mighty endeavor but if they corner Putin enough to dare him to strike even a little with Nuclear all bets are off and they'll go at him in full. his is Washingtons dream and Ukraines. Thus why we saw Ukraines attacks on the Nuclear facility - to incite an International crisis thus justifying Nato’s full involvement. It didn't work.
We're using Ukraine for all the dirty work that would never be tolerated if we were actually doing it ourselves. And Ukraines leadership is so hungry for Nato membership and to rid Russia of being influential in their governance they will let every Ukrainian die there to get it.
Shameful the US is playing such dirty business in full view of everyone. However considering who is running the show not surprising. And this administration will drain every cent out of our pockets to get to their goals.....”At any cost”.
No point in US destroying a pipeline that would not become operational any time soon (NS2) or one that wads shut for repairs (NS1)
Gazprom makes lots of money if it cannot deliver gas to Europe by selling it elsewhere and collecting from Germany per contract on undelivered gas. Russia needs the revenue, and now collects twice.
