Obviously we should have kept them in storage so that American troops would be able to use them against those Russians tanks. Now both our weapons and the more modern of their targets are gone.

20(?) HIMARS launchers and a few MLRS is not much of a draw down. The arty is modest, too.
The Javelin draw down is more impressive, but, your point holds: Where else would they be used? Filipino resistance vs. the Chinese if the Chinese try to take Luzon?
I do worry a bit about HIMARS rockets. The CEO of the plant in Arkansas didn’t seem to have any contingency plan at all for a not even doubling of production.
