I was actually remarking on how thoroughly Miami Police Chief Walter E. Headley's political party affiliation was buried by Google.

Others have remarked (here on FR) that the Left is destroying Confederate statues across the south because they are preparing to erase the history of the Democrat party.

Actually, my interest was piqued by your comment and, in fact, I was totally unsuccessful at finding any reference to his party affiliation whatsoever without a deep dive into newspaper archives. As well, the reference to ‘segregationist’ was behind a paywall.
