Puerto Rico is Puerto Rico’s biggest problem.

PR is run by the most corrupt and uncaring Democrats that look for ways to enrich themselves before helping a single citizen.

Exactly - they never get back up entirely after the last Hurricanes. Why change their equation when they get new property or shelter every time.

“(Governor) Pierluisi is a member of the New Progressive Party in Puerto Rico which advocates statehood for the Island territory. While on Capitol Hill, Pierluisi caucused with the House Democratic Caucus.”

The mess is supposed to happen, just like tent cities in San Francisco and zombies on the streets of Baltimore and Philadelphia.

It’s a feature of Democrat governance, not a bug.

Every once and a while they dredge up that farcical vote among three alternatives: remain a US possession, become 51st US state, or become their own country. Instead of taking the two highest vote getters and holding a runoff, since none of the alternatives ever gets 50%, they end up remaining a US possession.

The Dems want them to be a US state. We want them to be their own country. They are forever stuck in the limbo of US possession.

Yet another problem that our supposed "elites" refuse to solve.

What's the over/under between Puerto Rico sorting its problems vs. those in the Middle East?
