It was to denigrate normal marriage and worse, to deliberately target bakers and others who were Christians and did not want to be forced to do blasphemous satanic cakes, but then were ganged up upon by lawsuits each charging them $4-5,000 or more in fines for violating “gay marriage rights” as civil rights violations. Set up that way in advance. Injured parties were waiting to sue.
