Didn’t seem ‘deceptive’ to me, it seemed straight-forward.
Perhaps if she said: “Democrats are causing physical conditions in Republicans that sometimes end with the cessation of measurable and quantifiable brain-wave functionality” - that might be construed as deceptive, as not everyone in the crown would necessarily understand what it meant.
