Hungy Howie now giving the shefiff of Lee county a hard time since he said the death toll could be in the hundreds. Truth is it could easily be in the hundreds. Problem is its seldom reported.
I remember hurricane Andrew where the death toll was hardly reported. Yet my wife worked where those doing the demolition and reconstruction ate dinner and reported bodies found on a daily basis. Also, reports of trailer loads of dead migrants being bussed out of the area were common.
No one will ever know how many were killed in Andrew most like the same with this storm,Ian.
