At her news conference on Friday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was asked why she won't allow Democrats to speak out about the border crisis. “And do you believe the border is secure?” the reporter asked.
Pelosi did not like the question, and she made her displeasure known, as she used the opportunity to blast Donald Trump — but not by name — for his alleged “Muslim ban,” which had nothing to do with the overrun southwest border.
She also refused to answer the reporter's first question because it was based on something House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy had said.
“Well, I believe that we have to have a secure border,” Pelosi said. “And I think that we are trying to address — the president has a plan to address that. Securing our border is part of our security, to protect and defend our country. Let there be no doubt.” …

2 million a year of illegals who will vote while on welfare will vote Dem unless her big mouth insults them. And GOP will not say "I'm crazy about Nancy now that she said that. I'm voting Dem now."
I know I'm exaggerating. Bush and Cheney with Rove advising used to do incremental shavings off opponents' blocs, so a few of the various groups could add up to maybe 5-10% to win without getting the "union vote" or the "black urban vote" etc. to go all out. Just a few each. I thought it was sort of stupid as a strategy.
She’s hoping to fool a few undecided independents who are concerned about the border into believing that the Democrats are actually concerned about it too. If they’re gullible they may fall for it, but the smarter ones will hopefully recognize it as dishonest and desperate.
The "president" might have a plan on choosing between different flavors of ice cream cones but that's about as far as it goes for him.
