What did you expect from her?

When I was in elementary school the seasonal farm labor (that went to school) were the hardworking semi-literate white hillbillies. Hispanic migrants were also seen then, but didn't attend school. The state has had a migrant center (for public welfare) in Sparta, Michigan, for more than 40 years, probably more than 50 years.

Right now their numbers have peaked, they're getting ready to get out of the cold that's coming, and I'd guess come from south of the US border, as well as from Spanish-speaking areas of mostly southern states.
