KYIV, Oct 1 (Reuters) - A Russian patrol has detained the director general of Ukraine's Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the state-owned company in charge of the plant said on Saturday, and the U.N. nuclear watchdog said it was seeking "clarifications".

The Ukraine story is not going away, upwards of $80 Billion US sent to... (where, exactly?). $12.3 Billion in the continuing-gov bill a few days ago. What could be in store for next week?
All this while, for months now, China is moving about Taiwan Straight waters... at some point the two stories I believe will become one.
“detains” ... for Russians, it means sent to the Ukrainian front; for non-Russians, it means sent to Siberia
“Kidnapped” is a stupid, inflammatory description.
They greek chorus on these events is spectacular. Who would ever think the media could be this universally corrupt?
So after Putin’s claimed annexation of the region, Russia claims to control the nuclear power plant. They will now disconnect it from Ukrainian power lines, and attempt to connect it to the Russian power grid, which has been attempted before.
Probably helping Zelensky with his Dirty Bomb.
