I read an article yesterday on American Thinker site speculating on how the evacuation ahead of Ian would have gone if all the vehicles were electric. Would not have been good. Think desperate people, loaded with their necessities and treasures, heading onto the roadway and depending on recharging along the way.
The auto manufacturers need to tell that dizzy New Yawk broad, “Good luck with that, chickadee.” Let New Yawk meet their own deadline.

You can’t have life unless you have some form of the excretions or emissions, zero emissions is a physical impossibility.

What a crock of crap. Neither New York or California have the electrical infrastructure to support millions of vehicles plugged in at night nor plans to build those facilities. And there isn’t enough lithium and cobalt to put in them either.
Yep, government creates the problem where none existed before and the solution is. of course, more government mandates and more taxes and less freedom for the people.
Then when their “solution” doesn’t work, instead of backing off and admitting defeat, the government doubles down with a new “solution” that will only make the problem worse.
Why isn’t she mandating that All government Vehicles that use any type of petroleum product be immediately scrapped and replace with EV’s?? While you are at it, make it a FELONY for any Public Employee to use, own or possess any Item, Product or vehicle that uses any petroleum product...

Did her edict also include thousands of recharging stations must be built by 2035? How about all apartments and condominiums must install at least one charger per unit at no charge to the occupant? Or all employers must offer free charging to their employees?
Are they counting the emissions caused by manufacturing the batteries?
