Agree with everything you said. Plus the USA born star players get pampered even in high school giving them a sense of entitlement before they even begin college ball let alone the NBA.
I think it started to get really bad when ESPN was covering LeBron James when he played for St. Vincent–St. Mary High School. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player. But he's an @$$hole.
Michael Jordan was an @$$hole too but he loved the game. So it was different.
