Yep, Russia has painted herself into a corner here. Their options, as far as I can see are:
a) keep sending more troops they can’t afford to lose into a war they can’t win
or
b) admit defeat
Neither of which is going to bode well for Putin’s future prospects.
Don’t be surprised by mutual declarations of war tomorrow by Russia and Ukraine.
A third possibility c) destroy their pwn gas pipeline and hope King Winter forces Europe to stop supporting Ukraine.
