I honestly believe we are close to a tipping point against this lunacy. I can foresee in the near future armies/navies of workers tearing down these useless monuments to human stupidity.

They should paint red dots on the blades so at a given RPM we see the Hammer and Sickle because they are a constant reminder in the most scenic places of this Sovietization and the insensibility of this unreliable sun based energy generator.

Your average Nuclear Powerplant is a visual Sofia Loren compared to these eyesores.

It's been done on purpose IMHO, can't they not destroy anything, such as a scenic vista?
