I have a suspicion that if Biden said in prime time, on national television, "yes, we, the US, blew the pipelines", we would see the usual suspects here take one of two tacks:

1. No, its just a lie, Putin did it.
2. Good. Its about time to stick it to Russia

And they would do it without skipping a beat.
