They promised tens of thousands of dead Ukrainians, complete air superiority, more blown up HIMARs, tanks, drones, jets, than Ukraine ever had in stock. They promised victories, cities taken, promises of an "imminent cauldron" and a "pincer" from Izium closing in and sealing the fate of 30,000 Ukrainian soldiers, etc.

Now they expect us to believe that Russia has no reason to bomb these pipelines, when Nordstream 2 wasn't even operational, when Putin has threatened over and over again to "Freeze" Europe? Blowing up the pipelines now permits Russia to conduct terror attacks on western infrastructure. Just like how Putin took the time to SHELL his own alleged cities on Donestk and Luhansk--with cameras on showing the bloody "outgoing shells" were actually firing from Russian territory--before shelling Ukrainian cities.
Putin, like any old KGB, operates on the logic that a provocation is needed before he can murder willy nilly, something to throw the murderous swine on forums like Free Republic something to chew on, so they will celebrate what comes next on their own countries and people.
