Over the weekend, the Canadian government said it is dropping all COVID-19 measures at borders from next month.
This means, as of October 1, travelers won’t need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination when entering Canada or wear masks on planes and trains.
They will also not have to undergo any testing before and after arrival. There will also be no mandatory isolation and quarantine.
The ArriveCan app - used to upload health documents when entering Canada - will now become optional.
In Canada, 82% of the population has taken both doses of the vaccine.
Despite that, the BBC reports that around 32 Canadians are currently dying each day from the virus.
Canada isn’t the only country to lift the vaccine mandates, other countries, such as the United Kingdom, have also dropped COVID-19 entry requirements earlier this year.

These Leftists always do the wrong thing and then drag their feet into doing the better thing when it becomes obvious that that is the overwhelming majority opinion of the people. Other times they just are flat wrong and never self correct.

I don’t lie and infact I’m proud to say I’ve had no vaxx....I also throw in that my husband and our dtr who lives with us have not been vaxxed and as far as cold or viruses, we’ve been pretty healthy....I blame it on the vit d and c that we take....every single day...

Major lawsuit going on that Canadians’ Charter of Rights & Freedoms was violated. If the plaintiff (Brian Peckford - only living First Minister who helped craft The Constitution Act of 1982) wins, that is going to seriously put a kabosh on Trudie being able to do in the future what he’s done to Canada in the last two years ... ruling by ministerial order rather than going through Parliament & ignoring the rights/freedoms of Canadians.
By “suspending” (that’s all they just did - can be ‘reinstated’ if needed) the travel restrictions, the government is before the court trying to get them to rule the lawsuit is now “moot” and to throw it out.

Perhaps I should do that, it bothers me to have to lie..it bothers me to have to answer that question at all. I suppose I just am trying to avoid complications at the waiting room. What happens if I answer in the negative? Will they cancel the appointment or make me do some ridiculous “safety” thing, I just do not have the spare time to find out. Maybe they would do nothing, who knows
But.. wait…. I thought that this was THE crisis of all crisis’…

Sure... and there is a country closer to home that still hasn’t dropped its mandates. For those who don’t know, these are still the current state of affairs for travelers coming to the U.S.....
“Foreign national air travelers to the United States are required to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane to fly to the United States, with only limited exceptions...”

OTOH.....
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Order, which took effect November 8, 2021, requiring all nonimmigrant, non-citizen air travelers to the United States to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane to the United States remains in effect.

On their ‘About’ page, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms who have taken on the case says this... “There is no charge for the legal services provided by the Justice Centre. Since 2010, the Justice Centre has operated entirely without government funding, and officials tax receipts to donors for donations of $50 or more. The Justice Centre is funded by the voluntary donations of more than 10,000 Canadians from coast to coast.”
Canadians coast-to-coast should be supporting this case to the hilt....
I heard an interview with Brian Peckford probably 2 months ago (?). It was really interesting ... what a decent gentleman.
