I grew up six houses down the street from this museum and went there almost every day when there was no school. I especially liked the shrunken human head from the Papua New Guinea display.
We knew the guy who ran the place, but that was fifty years ago and I am pretty sure he died.
Took my girlfriend in high school on dates to the night show at the planetarium.
And now they are doing this. Locals are digging deeper into the story to find out if tax dollars were used to support this.
When I taught we would take field trips there. The IMAX theater & planetarium we’re so much fun. They loved the old-fashioned store. Drag shows don’t belong there.
