Here’s a thought - why not take a breath and wait for the explanation? I suspect it will be in one of his telecasts this week...perhaps tonight.
Then you can determine an appropriate response based on facts not currently known.
Just possibly... Sonny was a Tucker fan.
And just possibly. the Angels “asked” him.
And just possibly, Tucker may have thought it was an offer “too good” and that he could just “not refuse”.
Barger was an atrocious human.
The HAMC, which he founded, terrorized wherever they went. I experienced a small piece of it in NYC when I was a rookie cop. They were much worse in the 80s/90s.
Tucker showed up to his funeral and was giddy as a schoolboy and effusive in his praise of a drug-dealing violent felon.
Those are some facts I know right now. It would take a great deal to alter my perception of this story.
