When is the last time any of those countries really won a big war?
The USA won the cold war, gulf wars one and two.
The uk won the gulf wars and the falkland war
France won in mali, the chadian Libyan war
China not since 1949
India won in 1999 and 1971
Your Right—I didn’t think it out all the way—Italy has a beef with EU not NATO.
The cold war wasn't even a real war. We never fought directly with Russia or the Warsaw Pact.
And Gulf War 2’s ending is still open to interpretation.

There wasn't a real war between France and Mali.
France got involved in The Mali War, an ongoing armed conflict that started in January 2012 between the northern and southern parts of Mali.
France hasn't “won” anything there.
