Dizzy with Success.

A quite applicable reference to an article by Josef Stalin about the excesses in his agricultural collectivization program and the need to take a step back and move slower on the program. He said that the excesses had occurred because the program was so successful that the implementers became "dizzy with success". Similar to Lenin's New Economic Policy pronouncement.

I wonder how many millenials or GenZs would be aware of the meaning.

Did you like how Putin said that it was too soon for history to judge Lenin and Stalin? Let’s see...mass murderers whose ideological obsessions and manical egotism caused the deaths of millions. Yep, just too close to call.

I’m sure today’s yutes have never heard a discouraging word about the USSR. No time left after condemning the USA for its lack of “equity”.
