The most relevant statute is the Presidential Records Act, which basically states that whatever records the President takes with him are considered his personal property. So besides being yet another warrant obtained illegally, the FBI's seizure of documents are theft.
I never post here but the presidential records act says exactly the opposite, the level of ignorance is staggering.
