“Very rare.”
Really?
Calling you out on that statement since it encompasses ALL lithium-battery EVs, not just Teslas.
Compare in terms of number of vehicles on the road at the time, number of fires and number of deaths between the ‘71 Ford Pinto, ‘73-87 Chevy full-size pickups and Teslas without using Tesla’s statistical manipulation of “number of incidents per miles travelled” (the presumed source of your biased statement).
Then we’ll chat about ‘rare’ assuming, of course, that you can find accurate statistics on EV fires in general.
Aside: It took until 1993 for the NHTSA to finally address the Chevy pickup hazard, a full 20 years since the launch of the saddle-fuel-tank C/K models.
Pro-EV bias among Conservatives - which directly supports the anti-carbon movement - really burns me...
Yup.

I am talking about Tesla. This thread is about Tesla.
The Biden NHTSA employed some crazy, Tesla hating woman to be in charge the moment they seized power.
There is no unwillingness to go after Tesla. She has taken every chance to go after Tesla that she can.

I don't see any pro EV bias among conservatives. For the most part, most conservatives are agnostic.
