They better not cut into Medicare or Social Security. That would spell the downfall of the Republican party, especially since Boomers vote. However, Democrats always state that Republicans want to shut down both those programs, however, in reality, Obamacare cut Medicare funding a lot.
I would love to hear just 1 politician speak out about the incredible debt on America and how rather than BASELINE Budget they will cut back in EVERY DEPT 10% each year until the budget is met. They can’t even PASS a budget anymore but go on with these LOUSY CONTINUING RESOLUTIONS>

SS and Medicare are, unfortunately, here to stay. What will happen is that the IOUs will run out, then FICA will go up while benefits go down.
